Haus of Originals is a fully remote marketing, design, and social media agency based in Bozeman, Montana. As Lead Copywriter, I took ownership of writing for upwards of twelve client accounts per week. At Haus, I learned the intricacies of developing a cohesive, consistent brand voice and how to tell a brand’s story through a single Instagram post caption. My areas of expertise that our clients grew to rely on included blog and social media copywriting, with client feedback and approval. My time at Haus taught me the value of feedback and collaboration, as well as the problem-solving skills necessary for the fast-paced social media industry.

My role as a Social Media + Marketing intern led me to enhance my skills in a multitude of ways, including, but not limited to, copywriting, community management, and analytics reporting. During my brief time at Style Opal, I learned the ins and outs of social media management and the dedication it takes to provide quality service to social media clients. I also had several looks into the internal side of running a social media agency and the endless services one could provide to assist in crafting an expert social strategy.

Verbena Café was a family-owned and operated breakfast and lunch restaurant located in Norton Commons in Prospect, KY. During my time at Verbena, I juggled multiple roles, including office manager and social media specialist. Our social media presence was limited to Facebook, where I developed an online rapport with the restaurant's 1,512 fans. My other duties included registering employee information, developing recipe books and quick reference guides for the staff, and managing weekly payroll.

Kit Made is a custom women’s clothing company based out of Houston, TX. This internship entailed managing multiple social media accounts and producing daily scheduled content while maintaining existing brand standards. During this time I also lead online promotional efforts for the company’s successful 2018 Kickstarter campaign, including editing a series of videos and crafting both Instagram posts and written copy. The Kickstarter had 100 backers and exceeded its $8,000 goal.
